Utility Infrastructure Improvement (UII) Department partners with Utility and Communication Companies in Engineering and Construction operations for Joint Use Pole Attachment Programs (JU), Distribution Engineering Design Projects, and Distribution System Improvement Charge (DSIC) programs, such as the Pennsylvania Long-Term Infrastructure Improvement Program (LTIIP). This position will directly support projects within the UII Departments pole attachment application process and power delivery improvement process. The UII team is also responsible for analyzing requests for attachment to clients poles and network reliability improvements on clients electric distribution systems. UII staff support GIS data analytics, creation of notifications, work orders, invoicing, and financial reports utilizing enterprise resource planning software.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Manages operations of multiple UII Department teams to validate delivery of projects within assigned region are executed in accordance with project schedule and budget • Directs and/or provides leadership to multiple UII Department teams for engineering design and construction functions within assigned region or projects • Utilizes understanding of National Electric Safety Code (NESC) Standards, Client Standards, State or Local Municipal Guidelines, and/or other applicable guidelines and to manage UII Department teams through engineering and construction commitments • Manages regional productivity and financial budget, regularly reports variances to internal management team to verify alignment with business plan • Verifies UII Department teams are uniformed in their approach to safety, engineering design, technology platform utilization, project execution, and invoicing practices. • Supports leadership team with client onboarding, contract negotiations, and relationship development to grow Orbital UII business • Responsible for development of customer proposals, including detailed technical scope, schedule, budget, and resource management.

Production Manager

You will work with key staff members and production personnel of the Twiste to manage the production elements of its performances, primarily at three venues. You will also work as needed with all departments on projects to help ensure that the organization's theatrical production standards are successfully integrated and maintained. What you'll do: In consultation with the Associate Producer, develop and administer production calendars including but not limited to, design deadlines, space schedule with venue, load-in and tech schedules, and all design and production meetings. • Assist the Associate Director of Production, with managing the technical design process to ensure the timely completion of designs and their execution within the allotted time, budget and personnel available. • Provide oversight and management of the technical production process and assist the key artistic, creative and management personnel with advice and support to solve production related problems and to advance the artistic goals of the organization. • Assist the Executive Producer and Associate Director of Production with the identification and hiring of designers and production personnel. Supervise seasonal employees and interns. • Coordinate the scheduling of calls for all stagehands, wardrobe, hair and other union production personnel; review and track paperwork; compile accurate and timely payroll • Manage, track, and reconcile company credit card expenditures for production personnel. • Assist the General Manager with show settlements.

Candidates should have an entrepreneurial mindset and approach account management as their own business, with the motivation to put in the time and effort necessary to be successful. They should have a strong desire to learn more about existing and prospective PTC members and to constantly seek ways to improve member outcomes. Additional requirements include the drive and perseverance necessary to make new contacts, the ability to identify the needs of our member companies, and the ability to convert prospects into members. Previous experience in a membership or trade association is a plus, and someone with existing business relationships and/or a working knowledge of the business climate in the Pittsburgh region would be ideal. Experience and comfort in working within a CRM or donor management system is must.
The successful candidate must be willing to participate in community networking events and other key activities necessary to develop new leads. Qualified candidates must have superior presentation and communication skills across a diverse range of individuals and groups.
This position will report to the VP of Operations, but will work closely with a cross-disciplinary team of membership and trade association executives. Teamwork is essential.
